Our bodies go through such a change to make another human being, why not get your pictures done to freeze that moment in time with elegance and not just with our cellphone. Here at Luz Photography, we love maternity photography sessions. As a mother of 2, I often find myself missing that wonderful time of being pregnant. I miss the kicking, hiccups, and the feeling of wonder what my little ones would end up looking like. Available Maternity sessions

Deluxe Maternity session ~ $475

Up to 2 hour session
includes 25 digital images
a choice of either or do all Wings, Milk bath or Falling for you
borrow up to 3 dresses (can do nude)
in studio or on location

Basic Maternity session ~ $275

1 hour session
includes 15 digital images
borrow up to 2 dresses (can do nude)
in studio or on location

Maternity/Newborn Special ~ $900

Up to an 1.5 hour Maternity session *borrow up to 2 dresses (can do nude)
3-4 hour newborn session
Includes 20 digital images from each session
1 - 6x6 20 page album
In studio or on location*

This combo includes a basic maternity session and a full newborn session and everything that comes with each session plus 5 extra digital image per session and a 6x6 20 page album.

* Due to the amount of studio equipment and props,

Newborn sessions at home have a convenience fee of $100,

Please make sure there is at least 8 foot by 8 foot clear workable space.

A la carte (each option gives you an extra 2 digital images)

Wings ~ $25 on top of a session of your choice
Milk Bath ~ $75 on top of a session of your choice
Falling for you ~ $75 on top of a session of your choice

On location full sessions can be done pretty much anywhere we are legally allowed to be. There is a $1 per 1 way mile fee for anywhere more than 20 miles from the studio. Just a few of my favorite locations within 20 miles include:

Wickham park and Case Mountain in Manchester,CT
Bigelow Hollow state park in Union,CT
Valley Falls park in Vernon, CT.

My favorite on location site in CT outside the 20 miles is Harkness memorial state park in Waterford, CT. This location is absolutely stunning and just a $44 travel fee.

The Process

1. The Consultation

The consultation can be as simple as a quick phone call or as in depth as a visit to the studio to detail every aspect of what you are looking for. It's all up to you.

2. Book Your Session

Once you decide which pet portrait session you want and when you want it, just pay a $50 deposit (which goes toward the total cost of your session) and you're ready to go.

3. Strike a Pose

Time for your session. Don't forget to bring any outfits and any props you wanted to include. Don't forget the treats!

4. Pick Your Favorites

Within 48 hours of your session you will receive your proofs. These are all unedited images from your session. Each session includes some images. If you want more than what's included, the price for additional images will be included in the email with your proofs.

5. Download and Share

Once you have picked all of your favorites, please allow up to 2 weeks for all of the final edits to be done. Your finished images will be sent to you via

email to a password protected online web album for you to download. There are a variety of physical products available you can purchase right

from your online web album. If you only want the digitals, you're done!
